E-BOOK TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Please read the following carefully because by using AOAC’s online publication services, you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and Conditions of Use.
Limited E-book License: Authorized Users are permitted online access to this publication as an individual, institution or organization that has purchased access rights from the Publisher. These Authorized Users may save or view this publication solely for private use or research. Users are NOT permitted to download or save our e-books to their personal or company website and/or servers for general public access.
Authorized Users: Tier 1 and Tier 2 licenses may only be used/accessed by the individual who purchased the e-book. Tier 3 and Tier 4 users are employees, faculty, staff and students who are officially affiliated with the institution or organization purchasing the access rights.
The organization or institution purchasing the access rights is responsible for distributing the user names and passwords so that its Authorized Users may have access to the referenced publication, and will use its best efforts to prevent unauthorized use, including making all reasonable efforts to inform authorized users of these guidelines.
If access rights to the referenced publication are purchased through a re-seller of the product, the authorized user and control of the passwords rests with the end user of the product and not the re-seller. Logins and passwords will be issued directly to the end user.
Authorized Users may NOT alter, recompile, copy, print, resell, redistribute, publish or re-publish, systematically download, operate a bureau service or print for fee service for distribution to unauthorized users the content of the referenced publication or any part thereof without explicit written permission from the AOAC INTERNATIONAL, the copyright holder.
Passwords: You must immediately notify AOAC of any known or suspected unauthorized use(s) of your password, or any known or suspected breach of security, including the loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure of your password or any unauthorized access to the referenced publication. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for ensuring the authorized access and use of the referenced publication.
Software compatibility: e-books are viewable via Adobe Reader only. Please download the newest version of Adobe Reader at www.adobe.com.
Returns: E-book titles cannot be returned, as once the e-book is accessed AOAC is unable to take back any saved or downloaded material.
The purchase of the above titled e-book is not a subscription and is a one-time purchase. When a new revision becomes available, the purchaser, if applicable, will be required to purchase an e-book license for the new revision.
Forwarding of this e-book to non-licensed users is a violation of these Terms and Conditions.

AOAC INTERNATIONAL may modify any of these terms and conditions at any time by providing notice in this Terms and Conditions page. Your continued use of AOAC INTERNATIONAL’s online services shall be conclusively deemed acceptance of such modification.
AOAC INTERNATIONAL may provide links to third-party websites. Where such links exist, AOAC disclaims all responsibility and liability for the content of such third-party websites. Users assume the sole responsibility for the accessing of third-party websites and the use of any content appearing on such websites.
Termination: If you refuse or fail to abide by these Terms and Conditions or violate any other terms of this Agreement, AOAC INTERNATIONAL reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate your access to the online service immediately without notice, in addition to any other available remedies.
Ownership: Unless otherwise specified, as owner and publisher, AOAC INTERNATIONAL holds all rights, including copyright in the referenced publication, and maintains these rights under all circumstances. The publisher reserves the right to withdraw the referenced publication in order to comply with any legal rule or court order, or if the publisher is at risk of liability from the continued availability of the referenced publication in full or in part. AOAC INTERNATIONAL will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that the referenced publication is available to its customers, and to restore access as soon as possible in the event of an interruption. If and when the access rights lapse, continued access will be terminated by the Publisher who will notify the customer of such termination.
