AOAC Stakeholder Panel on Dietary Supplements Meeting
The SPDS will present to the panel all the SMPRs completed and methods adopted for 25 ingredients. SMPRs for Skullcap will be considered for adoption. AOAC is slated to hold a number of dietary supplement ERPs depending on the method submissions. All 25 ingredients have open Calls for Methods and Experts at www.aoac.org.

AOAC Stakeholder Panel on Infant Formula and Adult Nutritionals (SPIFAN) Meeting
Stakeholders and experts from the infant formula community will share updates on the global use and endorsement of AOAC SPIFAN methods, discuss future priorities, and review standard method performance requirements for amino acids. Registration is open to all interested participants. **Voting panel members are selected from the roster of pre-registered individuals only.

AOAC Expert Review Panel for SPIFAN Nutrient Methods
The SPIFAN Nutrient ERP will potentially review methods submitted for consideration for First Action Official Method status for fluoride, GOS, vitamin B3, amino acids, and carotenoids. The deadline for method submissions in July 27, 2018, at which time a meeting agenda will be available.

AOAC Stakeholder Panel on Strategic Food Analytical Methods (SPSFAM) Meeting
AOAC is bringing the food industry together to lead the charge to develop much needed standards and methods that promote food safety, food security, and facilitate trade. SMPRs for Low Lactose in Dairy will be considered for adoption. Working groups for Vet Drug Residues and Cannabis will provide information and updates. There will be an additional discussion on furans and potential areas for consideration.

AOAC International Stakeholder Panel on Alternative Methods (ISPAM) Meeting
The Working Group (WG) on Food Allergens will present its work on the SMPR for peanuts and will move the SMPR for approval by ISPAM voting members. The WG on Food Allergens will also start work on the next allergen of interest – tree nuts. The WG on Quantitative Microbiology Method Validation Acceptance Criteria Guidelines will present results of their work and future direction. Also for discussion and approval will be new microbiology topics of interest to be undertaken by ISPAM.
