MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the AOACI Agricultural Community Fertilizer Sub-Committee will be to prioritize, recommend, and review new methods and to update current methods of analysis for fertilizer products. We will work towards establishing agreement of the member laboratories on the use of specific fertilizer methods, endeavoring AOACI validation and approval of these methods. We will review analytical methods involving commercial fertilizers for the analysis of primary nutrients, secondary nutrients, micronutrients, and any non-nutrient compounds or elements associated with fertilizers. We will accomplish this through:

1. Pursuing representative involvement of laboratories from all regions of the world to help establish international agreement and usage of harmonious fertilizer methods.
2. Establishing means to prioritize methods that meet the needs of the international community.
3. Developing and maintaining communication processes through which discussions concerning method evaluations can be accomplished.

We will work as a team, demonstrating respect, candor, and commitment, in order to accomplish the goals set forth in our mission statement.
