Updated-P01 Pesticide Residue Laboratory Proficiency Testing ProgramIn response to participant feedback AOAC Laboratory Proficiency Testing Program staff has been working on updating the P01 Pesticide Residues in Fruits & Vegetables program. Updates to the program include: the list of possible residues will be one complete list, in alphabetical order, and no longer specific to the type of pesticide or equipment used for analyses. All three samples will have the same list of possible pesticide residues. Sample #1 will remain a blank for analyzing for incurred residues.
The changes for the possible pesticide residues list are provided below, new pesticides and removed pesticides are indicated.
Red highlighted rows indicate current pesticide that will be removed from the list, and
Green highlighted rows indicate the NEW pesticides that will be added.
The above changes are scheduled to start with the October 2011 round of testing. Please provide any feedback/comments on the changes to
LPTP@AOAC.org. Provide feedback/comments by no later than
August 30, 2011.
