OMA Program Manual to Be Revised
In an effort to better serve members and volunteers, the Official Methods Board (OMB) is currently revising procedures, known as the Official Methods of AnalysisSM (OMA) program manual, to reflect changes resulting from its restructuring of the Official MethodsSM Program. As such, the manual has been temporarily removed from the AOAC Web site and will be available online once the revisions have been finalized.
In the meantime, members and volunteers can find updated material on the Web site, including the validation guidelines currently in use, how to become a volunteer, and how to submit a method.
Stay tuned for more as the OMB continues to update OMA procedures. For example, an application process will be available on the AOAC Web site.
