CALL FOR POSTERS
AOAC INTERNATIONAL invites you to submit a Poster Presentation for the 2010 Annual Meeting.
All posters must be submitted online through the Abstract Central submission site.
The final deadline to submit a poster abstract for inclusion in the Poster Presentation section of the Final Program is July 14, 2010.
PLEASE NOTE that at least one of the poster authors must pre-register for the AOAC Annual Meeting

POSTER TOPIC CATEGORIES
Poster Presentations will be held on Monday, September 27, Tuesday, September 28, and Wednesday, September 29 from 10:00am – 5:00pm. There will be a 90-minute time slot each day during which authors will be present and explain their research.

PRE-REGISTRATION FOR POSTER PRESENTERS
At least one Poster author for each poster must pre-register to gain access to AOAC Abstract Central. To ensure that you will meet the submission deadline please pre-register by July 8.
FINAL PROGRAM
The final deadline to submit a poster abstract for inclusion in the Poster Presentation section of the Final Program is July 14, 2010.
The Final Program for the 2010 AOAC INTERNATIONAL Annual Meeting will be distributed to all Meeting registrants upon check-in at AOAC Registration booth at the Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando. It will include a full abstract listing and author index for all Poster Presentations accepted for presentation at the Annual Meeting.
NOTICE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE
All Poster abstracts will be notified of their acceptance for presentation at the Annual Meeting and inclusion in the Final Program no later than July 28, 2010. A final poster listing, including assigned poster numbers and detailed presentation information, will be released by August 13, 2010.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
- To submit a Poster Abstract, at least one of the poster authors must pre-register for the AOAC Annual Meeting in order to gain access to the poster submission web site. For registration information,

- Check your email for your pre-registration confirmation. Within the confirmation, you will be assigned a “role access code”. Save this email. You will need this code to gain access to the AOAC Abstract Central Submission Site.
- Go to http://aoac2010.abstractcentral.com/to submit your poster abstract. Please be certain to read both the Guidelines for Poster Abstract Submission and the Poster Abstract Submission Timeline prior to submitting your abstract via Abstract Central.
GUIDELINES FOR POSTER ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
All abstracts must be submitted via the Abstract Central submission site. Abstracts sent via mail or email cannot be accepted.
- Only completed Poster Presentations with all required information will be considered for publication and presentation at the Annual Meeting. Paper titles or abstracts without complete contact information will not be accepted. Changes will not be possible after the final submission deadline of July 14, 2010.
- The body of an abstract should not exceed 1400 characters (including spaces).
- Abstracts containing graphs and charts cannot be accepted.
- Do not include references, credits or grant support.
- Do not include keywords. AOAC does not publish a key words index in the Final Program.
- Abstracts dealing with commercial products or services must have a scientific emphasis and should not be submitted for promotion purposes. Scientists with an interest in promoting new products and technologies are encouraged to contact the AOAC Meetings department to learn about 2010 Exhibitor Presentation opportunities.
- All abstracts must use correct grammar and punctuation. Proofread carefully for formatting, spelling and grammar. Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted.
