AOAC invites all experts in detection of ricin to be part of an AOAC pool of experts.

AOAC is under contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to identify, select, evaluate, and validate immunochromatographic lateral flow devices (also known as hand held assays) for the detection of ricin in suspicious powders. AOAC will select qualified experts to form an Expert Review Panel (ERP). ERP members will identify and select hand held assays for further evaluation and validation.
