J. AOAC Int. to Feature Special Guest Editor Section on Analytical Methods for the Determination of Veterinary Drug Residues in Food Products of Animal Origin

The March/April 2011 issue of the Journal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL will feature a Special Guest Editor Section consisting of nine papers on “Analytical Methods for the Determination of Veterinary Drug Residues in Food Products of Animal Origin.” The special section was guest edited by Badar Shaikh, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Center for Veterinary Medicine, who says, “The information in this section will enhance the capability of consumers, investigators, and regulatory agencies to assess the presence of drug residues in animal-derived food products destined for human consumption.”
