The Official Methods^SM site

Welcome to the AOAC Expert Review Site. It is a gateway to an online peer-review system designed to facilitate and speed up methods validation through web-based submission and review of documents in the Official Methods^SM program workflows.

The system was developed with financial support from the National Institutes of Health, Office of Dietary Supplements. It uses Manuscript Central^TM software developed by ScholarOne Inc.

The Official Methods^SM site deals with submission and review of precollaborative and collaborative studies. It enables submission of initial protocols through approval of final manuscripts by the AOAC Official Methods Board. It includes automatic reminders, document and user information security features, archiving, and readily available information on document status.

To submit a method you must have a user name and password, which can be attained through registration on the site. For questions regarding the submission or review of methods, contact:
