Call for Participation in upcoming efforts by the Analytical Laboratory Accreditation Criteria Committee (ALACC)

ALACC is currently proceeding with identification of what needs to be revised in the 2010 ALACC Guidelines.

The ALACC Committee and the three ALACC sub-committees will begin their evaluation and recommendations through a series of conference calls and email discussions. ALACC will be meeting at the AOAC Annual Meeting in Chicago. The ALACC Subcommittees are Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, and Pharmaceutical. Currently enrollment in the Subcommittees is open to all members of the TDLM division, however, a committee's size may become limited by its chair if the committee becomes too large to be effective.

If you are interested in participating on any of the sub-committees, please contact Arlene Fox at AOAC headquarters (e-mail afox@aoac.org, telephone number: 301-924-7077 x143).

Please note that participation is limited to members of the TDLM division of AOAC INTERNATIONAL

It's an exciting time for all our TDLM members as we continue to grow and adjust, remaining always adaptable, motivated and open to new ideas and regulations. Our technical division is confronting a time of many changes with the expected FSMA's regulations and guidance, and we will be meeting these adjustments during a time of larger nation-wide transformation. The world of laboratory management is an exciting area in which to work, and we will continue to meet and bring inspired people together in forums like ours, to ensure our technical division remains at the cutting edge."
