COLLABORATIVE STUDY OF THE YEAR
The Collaborative Study of the Year Award recognizes excellence on the part of Study Directors, with regard to scientific innovation and soundness of design, implementation, and reporting. Unique or particularly noteworthy aspects of a collaborative study and method, such as innovative technology or application, breadth of applicability, critical need, difficult analysis, or range of collaborators, are the basis on which a study is chosen. The Study Director who conducted the award-winning collaborative study is recognized and receives an award at the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Annual Meeting. The Selection Process: The Official Methods Board chooses a Collaborative Study of the Year, based on recommendations of the Methods Committees.
