Identify and Prioritize Chemical Contaminants and Residues in Food Issues!
In order to assure that AOAC expends the resources of the organization and its volunteers on the issues of most importance to the analytical community, the Chemical Contaminants and Residues in Food Community must identify and prioritize the methods that are most needed.
It is also assumed that if methods are really needed, than someone will support the development of these methods, either by donating their expertise to study, evaluate and review methods, their laboratory time to collaborate methods and/or their money to support the AOAC method validation process.
The Food Contaminant Community is just beginning this process and you can be a part of it. You do not need to be a member of AOAC. You can invite everyone who has a vested interest in these processes to participate. In fact, we really wish you would pass this on to all the scientists and industry representatives interested in this topic. This is everyone's chance to assure that the topics of most interest to you are recognized and evaluated.
You can simply send us an e-mail and let us know your concerns and analytical method needs.
You can fill out the attached Food Contaminant Issues Survey.
Click here for Downloadable Food Contaminant Issues Survey.
To complete the survey, choose five issues and rank them from "1" for your first choice and "5" for an issue that simply doesn't need any more study.
Please, please, please give us some contact information. Give us as little or as much as you like. Send us your contact information and the names of government and industry persons who have expertise in the issues of most importance to you. The more contact information that you provide, the more likely that your issue will get more attention.
