Once you are in the screen with the two fields called “Login” and below that, “Password”:

1. Type your AOAC member number in the top, “Login” field*, and
2. Your last name into the “Password” field
3. Click the “sign on” button

Now**:

Click on the “Communities” heading near the top (white letters against blue stripe)

Now click on “Marine and Freshwater Toxins” At the bottom of the Community Forums page, and you should now be seeing the news items, toxin group forums, etc.

* I realize that it is counter-intuitive to enter your member number in the Login and your last name in the Password. This has been confusing to some users. Please not also that your last name is your starting password but you can change it (I don’t recommend it, you already have to keep track of your member number!)

** Don’t click Edit Security, Edit Profile, or Edit Demographics if all you want to do is to get into the toxin forums. You can edit these settings later if you wish, but they are not necessary to proceed into the forums.
