Abstract Deadline June 24 for Orlando 2005 We are calling for Marine and Freshwater Toxins poster submissions for the September 2005 symposium, "Marine and Freshwater Toxins Analysis: Quality Methods for Public Health and International Trade" to be held at this year's Annual AOAC Int. Meeting in Orlando, Florida. Dates for the AOAC meeting are Sept 11-15, 2005. ABSTRACT DEADLINE IS JUNE 24, 2005. There will also be subgroup meetings and Task Force overview later in the week during the AOAC meeting and both toxin researchers and industry and government stakeholders are invited. Finally, please note also for those interested in cyanobacteria and associated toxins, there is the International Symposium on Cyanobacterial Harmful Algal Blooms (multiple sponsors but lead is EPA) preceding the AOAC meeting Sept 6-10, 2005 in North Carolina (not so far north of the Florida AOAC meeting) We will have coordination and exchange of information between the AOAC and EPA meetings, including an EPA presentation at our symposium and discussion in our cyanobacterial toxin subgroup meeting in Florida.
