Transportation to the Loews Royal Pacific
The Loews Royal Pacific is approximately 15 minutes from the Orlando International Airport (MCO). A taxi from the airport to the Loews will cost approximately $42.00 one way. Check Out Orlando
The Loews Royal Pacific is centered near all the action at Universal Orlando. Universal Orlando is a multifaceted resort comprising Universal Studios Florida, CityWalk, and the Islands of Adventure theme park. CityWalk is a short walk or complimentary water taxi ride from the Loews and local dining and attractions abound. Some local favorites include Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Bob Marley--A Tribute to Freedom, The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market, Hard Rock Cafe Orlando, Latin Quarter, NASCAR Sports Grille, NBA City, and Pastamoré Ristorante & Market.

While in Orlando, check out some of the local attractions such as Universal Studios Florida, Worlds of Discovery Parks, Disney World, The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, the Orlando Museum of Art, Museum of Arts and Sciences, or golf at one of the 176 Orlando-area courses.

Climate
The average daytime temperature in Orlando in September is 88 degrees and most days are sunny. Meeting rooms tend to be cold, so a light jacket is recommended for those attending the conference.

Dress Code
The dress code for the AOAC Annual Meeting is business casual attire. For the President’s Welcome Reception on Sunday evening, business or semi-formal attire is suggested.

Official Language
The official language of the AOAC Annual Meeting is English. Language translation is not provided.

Meals at the Annual Meeting
AOAC does not provide meals during the Annual Meeting. However, for a small bite to eat, swing by one of the evening receptions listed in the “Special Events & Networking Opportunities” section. Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks will be available in the Exhibit Hall and morning coffee will be set-up outside of the session rooms. A continental breakfast will be provided on Monday, September 27 before the Awards Ceremony and Keynote Address.
