Final Program and Presentation at the Annual meeting.
POSTER TOPIC CATEGORIES & PRESENTATION SCHEDULE
Poster will be held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel Exhibit Hall on Monday, September 19, Tuesday, September 20, and Wednesday, September 21 from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
Poster Presenters will be present to discuss their research with viewers during their assigned session’s viewing day from 11:30-1:00pm.
Monday, September 19
- Analysis of Foodborne Contaminants and Residues
(Analysis of contaminants and residues which are produced DURING processing. Examples: acrylamide, 3-MCPD)
- Analysis of Non-Foodborne Contaminants and Residues
(Includes all deliberately added contaminants such as pesticides but NOT natural toxins like Mycotoxins or PSP)
- Microbiological Methods
(Any method or methods development dealing with the detection and enumeration of microorganisms)
- Pharmaceutical Analysis, Authenticity and Safety
(Pharmaceutical product analysis, authenticity and safety but NOT dietary supplements and botanicals)
- Plant Food, Pet Food and Animal Feed Nutritives, Additives and Contaminants
(Methods related to plant or animal food, including pet food, relating to either determination, detection and/or quantitation of nutritives, additives of contaminants)
Tuesday, September 20
- Detection and Measurement of Natural Toxins
(PSP, Mycotoxins)
- Emerging Issues in Food Safety and Security
(Issues not older than 24 months related to food safety)
- Food Nutrition and Food Allergens
(Nutritional methods, GI, Food Allergen methods and issues)
Wednesday, September 21
- General Methods, Quality Assurance and Accreditation
(Quality Assurance and Accreditation; and any methods that do NOT fit in ANY of the other categories)
- Botanicals and Dietary Supplements
(Methods or developments related to botanicals and dietary supplements)
- Performance Tested MethodsSM
