Organizational Membership
AOAC INTERNATIONAL offers two distinct membership programsthe
Organizational Affiliate (OA) Program and the Sustaining Member
Organization (SMO) Programthat allow corporations, government
agencies, and academic institutions to support the Association's
mission of advancing the global chemistry and microbiology analytical
community by promoting methods validation and quality measurements.
The difference between the two programs can best be characterized
by the flow of information, please see below for a description of
each program.
Organizational Affiliate (OA) Program
The Organizational Affiliate Program provides a single level of
supportthe Leadership Circle (US$10,000 annually)and
is designed for organizations seeking the highest level of engagement
and involvement in AOAC INTERNATIONAL. With this program, information
flows directly from the supporting organization to the highest levels
of AOAC. To view the list of our current Organizational Affiliates click here.
Leadership Circle dues of US$10,000 annually provide Organizational Affiliates with:
- Direct involvement in, and impact on, the strategic direction of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, through participation on invitation-only meetings and forums;
- Increased opportunities for engagement with, and direct access to, AOAC leadership and senior staff;
- Hyperlink from AOAC website to Organization's home page; and
- Ten (10) Individual Member Representatives;
- Up to twenty-five (25) non-member OMA-Online user licenses.
Individual Member Representatives from each organization are entitled
to all of the benefits of individual membership, including: access
to critical technical information, professional development and
recognition, networking opportunities, member discounts on AOAC
products and services, and a subscription to Inside Laboratory
Management, AOAC's magazine.
Sustaning Member Organization (SMO) Program
With four levels of supportranging from the Sustainer level
(US$750 annually) to the Partner level (US$5,000 annually)Sustaining
Member Organizations provide financial support for AOAC INTERNATIONAL
programs and services, in return for a specific package of benefits.
Through this program, information flows from AOAC to the participating
organization via the various benefits afforded by their membershipsuch
as a complimentary Journal subscription, technical division memberships
for representatives, the latest edition of the Official Methods
of Analysis of AOAC INTERNATIONAL (OMA), etc.depending on
their level of support.
