The BAX® System with Automated Detection PCR Assay for Screening Salmonella has been validated and certified as a Performance Tested Method by the AOAC Research Institute as an effective method for the detection and identification of Salmonella species in a wide variety of foods including milk (2%), black pepper, chilled ready meal, chipped ham, chocolate, cooked chicken, cooked fish, custard, dry pet food, elbow macaroni, frozen peas, hotdogs, nonfat dry milk, orange juice, peanut butter, pizza dough, seafood-prawns, alfalfa sprouts, ground beef, and liquid egg.
