Performance Tested Methods AOAC Research Institute (AOAC RI) was incorporated in December 1991 as a subsidiary of AOAC INTERNATIONAL. The AOAC RI is a non-profit, international, scientific organization. The AOAC Research Institute administers the Performance Tested Methods Program, and provides Consulting Services to assist development of analytical methods. The Performance Tested Methods Program provides an independent third-party review of test kit performance claims. Test kits found to be in conformance with their claims are granted Performance Tested Methods status by the AOAC RI. The Performance Tested Methods status assures the test kit user that an independent assessment has been conducted and the kit performs as claimed. The Performance Tested Methods Program provides a rapid entry point into the AOAC validation process and provides a rapid approval process. |
