In 2019, the Stakeholder Panel on Agent Detection Assays assembled three working groups to develop consensus standards for the preparation and use of soil testing samples, bacterial strain verification and in silico PCR analysis. The work is now completed and guidance documents for each are currently in press. During the first half of this session, AOAC will showcase this work for the broader AOAC community. The remainder of the session will then explore future extensions of the work.
