The AOAC Analytical Solutions Forum serves as an “idea incubator.” It is a science-based, open meeting where global stakeholders from government, industry and academia can convene to share emerging issues that are impacting food safety, food defense and food security; and, to examine the role (and need) for analytical standards and methods.
Whereas last year’s meeting featured speakers from US regulatory officials, the focus for the forum at the 2020 Midyear Meeting will highlight emerging food safety concerns among countries along the Pacific Rim, and explore opportunities to support capacity building programs to address these concerns.
The ASF forum will also feature an Emerging Topics and Technologies Session. This session is designed to introduce to our stakeholders, those food safety concerns of high importance and impact on global public health and trade. It also represents an excellent opportunity for substantial international engagement and for future international collaboration. See the full Midyear Meeting Schedule at a Glance >
