AOAC INTERNATIONAL requests stakeholder attendance and participation for the Novel Foods Program Stakeholder Meeting: Presentation of the Final Total Amino Acid SMPR® Draft for Consensus Vote. The meeting will be held virtually Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM ET. Please register by Friday, May 30.
During the meeting, the co-chairs of the Novel Foods Amino Acids Working Group, Christophe Fuerer (Société des Produits Nestlé SA) and Jeffrey Shippar (Eurofins Food Testing U.S.), will present the development and scope of the Total Amino Acids SMPR® along with the reconciliation of the received public comments. The session will conclude with a live consensus vote to initiate the 10-day consensus vote period.
