AOAC is seeking volunteer subject matter experts to serve on a multifaceted working group focused on botanical identity testing under the umbrella of the Botanical Ingredient and Dietary Supplement Integrity program. The first objective will be to review and update Part II and III of OMA Appendix K. Additional revisions may include expanded technical guidance or other best practices to address challenges in choosing or developing appropriate, fit for purpose, scientifically valid methods of evaluation for establishing methods for identity of botanical materials.
