The Committee on Sections is excited to announce two new events at the AOAC Annual Meeting: its first-ever Section Fair and educational training on how to plan and organize a section annual meeting. This event is a crucial platform for learning, networking, and exploring leadership opportunities within your Section. It is open to anyone.
Section Fair: The Section Fair, scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Harborside Foyer, is a unique opportunity to learn more about your Section, its activities, and the available volunteer roles. It’s a chance to get a comprehensive understanding of your Section’s operations and how you can contribute. Be sure to stop by.
Section Training: The Section 101 Training and Networking Session will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM in the Essex Room. This training, developed and given by experienced section leaders, is a powerful tool for those new to AOAC or seeking to contribute as a volunteer.
