On March 8, 2021, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced it had completed its review of the Final Rule establishing the U.S. Domestic Hemp Production Program. As part of AOAC’s Cannabis Analytical Science Program (CASP)‘s Training and Education initiative, on July 14, 2021, Bill Richmond and Dr. Kerry Smith from USDA briefed the AOAC CASP community on the U.S. Domestic Hemp Production Program’s Final Rule and its implications.
