CALL FOR CONSENSUS

The AOAC Gluten & Food Allergens (GFA) Program recently posted its guidance document for public comment. The comments received along with the responses are included in this posting. Therefore, the draft guidance entitled AOAC Gluten Qualitative Validation Guidance (2023) is now ready for consensus by the AOAC Gluten & Food Allergens community and all who have a material interest in this work.
CONSENSUS PROCESS
Community consensus voting on the draft guidance. The mechanism determine for consensus on this document is via an electronic ballot that is accessible below. The deadline for ballot returns is Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 11:00 PM ET. Ballots will be reviewed, and results will be announced. The ballot does NOT allow for comments to be submitted as this is the final posting. Access to the draft standard and the electronic ballot is below.
