AOAC INTERNATIONAL is seeking candidates to serve on the Official Methods Board (OMB).
This is a distinctive opportunity for AOAC members to help scientifically lead the Association toward its goals and serve its mission. The OMB serves the Association in a scientific and advisory capacity on methods and the process of their adoption. The OMB is also responsible for the implementation of procedures adopted by the AOAC Board of Directors (BOD) in accordance with the Bylaws with the OMB’s full scope of responsibilities outlined in the BOD approved Terms of Reference for the OMB.
The term for new OMB members will begin on August 28, 2024, at the conclusion of the 2024 AOAC Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland USA.
Please participate in this important process by nominating a member (or yourself) for service. Nominations for upcoming vacancies will be accepted through Friday, May 17, 2024.
