AOAC INTERNATIONAL seeks nominations for the 2025 Section of the Year Award, which recognizes an AOAC Regional Section’s exceptional contributions to the Association.
This annual award recognizes a Section’s role in advancing analytical excellence in food safety, integrity, and public health. Any active AOAC Section can be nominated and considered based on the following categories:
- Section activities (e.g., webinars, meetings, training courses)
- Communication (e.g., website, newsletter, mailing list)
- Recruitment and engagement
- Community service
Members may nominate a section by Friday, March 28, 2025. When a nomination is received, staff will forward an application to the nominated Section Leadership to complete it based on the award selection criteria and submit it by Monday, April 30, 2025.
