The AOAC Botanical Ingredients and Dietary Supplement Integrity (BIDSI) program’s Pyrrolizidine Alkaloids Working Group recently completed its review and revision of the SMPR for Pyrrolizidine Alkaloids in teas, herbal infusions, dried herbs, seed spices, honey, botanical dietary supplements, and ingredients; and is now accepting public comments. The public comment period has been extended to will be extended until Friday, September 1, at 11:59 PM EST. Comments will be compiled and reviewed; the document may be revised, if necessary, based on comments received. Please submit your comments through this form.
