Katerina Mastovska, Deputy Executive Director & Chief Science Officer, is a new liaison member of the MicroVal General Committee. MicroVal is an international certification organization for the validation and approval of alternative methods for the microbiological analysis of food and beverages, and AOAC serves as a Microval Liaison organization providing relevant input to the work of MicroVal and vice versa.
