In addition to the new qualitative gluten guidelines, AOAC has now released the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Guidelines for Validation of Quantitative Gluten Methods with Specific Examples – ELISA Assays. The content in this standard was developed as the second of two validation guidelines by the AOAC GFA Working Group on Gluten. These standard guidelines provide a framework that laboratories, regulators, and industry worldwide can adopt to ensure that analytical methods are robust, transparent, and aligned with public health priorities.
