The Proficiency Testing division recently brought on an aspiring scientist to assist the staff and gain an understanding of the applied science that AOAC is involved in. Sam Scovitch is currently a dual major in chemistry and biochemistry, with a minor in microbiology, at Oklahoma State University. Sam is a 4.0 GPA student, is in the Honors Program, and has already been the recipient of two awards: Recipient of the College of Arts and Sciences Walter Hamilton Endowed Scholarship for academic excellence and Recipient of the College of Arts and Sciences Shively Scholarship for academic excellence. Please welcome Sam as he begins to explore the many areas of the science we are involved in. We are happy to have him on board!
