Ethylene oxide: After an informative and well-attended scientific forum in July, AOAC is planning to launch a working group to develop standard method performance requirements (SMPRs) for ethylene oxide (EtO) residues. We are seeking support from additional organizations who will form the project Advisory Panel. Currently, there are six companies who have committed to this project representing the food, dietary supplement, technology provider and testing lab members. Legionella in water: We are also close to the launch for a methods project focusing on Legionella in water, with multiple companies from the lab testing and technology provider segments already represented.
