The 42nd session of the FAO World Health Organization CCMAS has endorsed three AOAC Official Methods of Analysis (SPIFAN methods for total amino acids, tryptophan, and vitamin B12 in infant formula) as proposed by the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) for inclusion in Codex Standard CXS 234-1999 on recommended methods of analysis and sampling.
