AOAC INTERNATIONAL expects meeting attendees to respect each other’s person, personal space, opinions, property, and culture. COVID-19 and the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Annual Meeting

There is always inherent risk in participating in any activity. Due to the circumstances created by COVID-19, there is a heightened degree of personal risk and responsibility associated with any gathering. At this time, AOAC INTERNATIONAL will be supportive of attendees taking prudent and advisable measures to reduce the risk of virus/illness transmission during the meeting. Despite everyone’s best efforts, it is still impossible to reduce the level of risk to zero. As an attendee registering for the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Annual Meeting, you:

  • Acknowledge these and other risks and agree to take full personal responsibility for them. You will not hold anyone else accountable, including AOAC INTERNATIONAL, its staff or partners, should you contract an illness or should anything else happen to you during your participation in this meeting
  • Agree to monitor your own health status and not attend the meeting if you are symptomatic in any way or if you believe you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

In the event of a change in guidance from local, state, or federal authorities related to COVID-19 or any variant thereof, AOAC INTERNATIONAL reserves the right to modify the above guidelines as appropriate.
