Dr. Ali Yehia studied pharmaceutical sciences at Cairo University. He received his doctoral degree in analytical chemistry in 2011 from the same university. Yehia’s expertise in chromatography, spectroscopy and electrochemistry contributes significantly to developing and validating analytical methods using experimental design for pharmaceutical analysis with low environmental footprint. His research interest is extended to design optical and electrochemical sensors for narcotics and antibiotics detection in food products. He won the State Encouragement Award in Medical Sciences for 2019 from Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in Egypt. Currently Yehia is a full professor at Cairo University and University of Hertfordshire, both in Egypt.
