Dr. Jianghao Sun is a Research Chemist at the Methods Application and Food Composition Lab (MAFCL) of Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center, USDA-ARS. He earned his M.S. from Hebei Medical University with the major of Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Ph.D. from Peking University with the major of Pharmacognosy. His research focuses on developing liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry-based fingerprinting and metabolomic approaches for food/botanical authentication, food composition analysis, dietary biomarker discovery for nutritional intervention, and the analytical methods improvements for phytochemicals in food and natural products.
