AOAC INTERNATIONAL is launching a new working group under the Cannabis Analytical Science Program (CASP). This new working group will focus on identifying areas in cannabis where laboratory proficiency testing programs are needed.
AOAC’s Laboratory Proficiency Testing Program, accredited to ISO/IEC 17043:2010 by the accreditation body A2LA, helps labs compete in the global marketplace by demonstrating that through participation they meet the highest international standards for accuracy, reliability, and compliance. Proficiency testing provides an independent measure of quality, helps labs meet customer and accreditation requirements, and demonstrates technical competence.
The CASP Proficiency Testing working group is an opportunity for scientists with interest in or knowledge of proficiency testing to contribute as a volunteer for AOAC. Working group members are not required to be AOAC members.
