The AOAC INTERNATIONAL Membership Committee is excited to announce a Call for Nominations for leadership roles within the newly established AOAC Student Subcommittee.
We invite motivated and engaged student members with an interest in chemistry, microbiology, food science, analytical sciences, and other related sciences to self-nominate for this opportunity to become involved with AOAC and help shape the future of student engagement within the organization.
Purpose of the Student Subcommittee
The AOAC Student Subcommittee is being formed to strengthen connections among student members worldwide, provide professional development opportunities, encourage participation in AOAC programs, and represent student perspectives within the organization. The committee will also help build pathways for students to engage in networking, leadership, mentorship, scientific programs, and volunteer opportunities across AOAC.

Students selected for leadership roles should be prepared to:
• Attend periodic virtual meetings
• Participate in planning and committee discussions
• Support student engagement initiatives and communications
• Serve collaboratively and professionally with fellow committee members
The expected time commitment is designed to be manageable alongside academic and research responsibilities.
