Here’s what you need to know to get the most out of the 138th AOAC Annual Meeting & Exposition in Baltimore. It’s time to start planning your conference experience by downloading the official AOAC INTERNATIONAL mobile app.

Through the app, you can access the full schedule, directory, digital business card and exhibitor scanning, and notifications.

To start, use your mobile device to install or access the app by searching for AOAC INTERNATIONAL in the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. Use “Log In with an Email Link” with the same email address you registered with:

  1. Create/Update your Profile – Tap on the Account area or your name at the top of the main menu screen. Add your photo for the Directory and set your preferences so you can use the app’s QR scanning and messaging features.
  2. Customize your Schedule – Choose your sessions from the Schedule by tapping on the icon to the left of the session name, then tapping “Selected” at the top to see your itinerary.
  3. Network with Colleagues – Reach out to other participants and exhibitors by visiting the Directory, messaging them before you arrive, then using the app’s scanning features on-site to Exchange Digital Business Cards and Check-In with Exhibitors.

Weather and Dress

The forecast in Baltimore will be highs in the mid to high 80s (degrees F) and lows of low 70s or high 60s (degrees F). Meeting rooms tend to be cold, so a light jacket is recommended. Suggested attire for the meeting is business casual.

Poster Viewing Day/Times:

Posters will be available for viewing on the third floor in the Grand Ballroom from Monday through Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Meet and interact with the poster presenters Monday through Wednesday, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Posterboard numbers beginning with M will be displayed on Monday, T on Tuesday, and W on Wednesday. Boxed lunches will be served in the Exhibit Hall on Monday and Tuesday.

Note to Poster Authors:

AOAC staff will not be responsible for posters left in the poster hall after 6:00 PM.
