As part of AOAC’s collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a Standard Method Performance Requirement (AOAC SMPR® 2025.002) and a Standard Protocol (SP) 2025.001 to accompany it have been published for Detection of Benzodiazepines, Fentanyl, Medetomidine, Nitazenes, and Xylazine in Selected Drug Product Solids, Liquids, and Residues.
