AOAC’s Proficiency Testing Program offers samples that are available for quality assurance and educational purposes and are separate and different from proficiency testing samples. These samples can be used for training, corrective actions, method development, examining method equivalence & performance, method validation, and more. These items are available in limited quantities for quality assurance, quality control, and educational purposes.
Participants receive samples along with recommended Instructions for Analysis. Included is a report containing target values, standard deviations, and other statistics that can be used for the purposes above and to evaluate a laboratory’s performance internally. Quality Assurance & Educational Samples are available for all matrices, organisms, and analytes for which PT programs are offered.
