AOAC INTERNATIONAL has approved a new policy governing the use of the Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC INTERNATIONAL (OMA) logo. The policy clarifies who may use the logo, how it may appear, and how eligible organizations may accurately reference methods published in the OMA compendium. Eligible organizations may request permission to use the OMA logo and access the request form to begin the review process. The policy also helps protect the integrity of the OMA program by ensuring the logo is used consistently and does not imply AOAC endorsement, certification, or ownership of a method. The final policy is now approved and ready for use.
